Can you do New Zealand and Australia in one trip?

You can do New Zealand as part of an Australia trip or all by itself; there is plenty to do. The north and south islands are so very different from one another that you should take the time to explore both. Australia and New Zealand are breathtaking in their diversity. These two southern territories are vastly different. Should I spend more time in Australia or New Zealand?

Its majestic mountain peaks of Franz Josef Glacier and Milford Sound, Queenstown. Christchurch offers the Trans Alpine Train across the island, and Dunedin.
